Assalam o Alaikum:
I used to enjoy good business income but since last 4 years I am in big problem. Yes the recession has hit everyone but I see other people in my field still doing little or average business. But in my case I am not getting any business at all. This is creating frustration and also problems at home. I got wife and 2 kids as dependants and start of each new month comes with big bills for me. I have some savings that were put into fixed deposit and I was having regular monthly interest, I kept that deposit account for 4/5 years and then I realized maybe the interest income is the reason for failure of my business. Last year I closed that account and with new hope I started working hard to get some business. Maybe I am having more tests from almighty Allah, as however I try, I am not succeeding at all. I fear with all monthly expenditure, all my savings would be gone and then how would I run my family? Such thoughts prompt me to go for fixed deposit income (the interest) but as of now I still got some fractional patience left with me. I am not sure what will happen if situation stays the same with business for a year or two. Please note that I was counted as "above average / upper middle class" 5 years back and now I cry at my situation. My family does not know of my situation fully and because of my ego I dont tell my problems to my wife and kids, coz if I do, they will get worried too (and then what can they do if I tell them). Being head of the family, it is MY responsibility for my family and their livelihood and their expenses. The situation sometimes makes me feel a culprit for being a man (and being head of family). Please advise me what to do. Jazak Allah!

Assalaam o Alaekum. Well i have islamic scholar ver 2 , after installing when i run the program it asks for the cd, when i try to change the drive letter to E (which is true for my computer) and the cd is in there and working the program will still not work. It seems that the drive letter is stuck on D and doesnot read E drives. |

AOA, I have islamic scholar 2.0 which doesnt work on Win xp, i tried to download upgrade from parexcellence.co.za site but a blank page comes up as already pointed out by some customers. i asked the solution from email address of publisher aasmal@iafrica.com but they are not giving any response. thats the reason i want to purchase version 3.0 and i was asking for its availability in saudia because i dont have a credit card and so cant buy on line. |

AOA, i am going through a very difficult situation with my wife, i am married in pakistan and currently live in dubai.I have been married 3 years and have 2 kids.My wife is very dis obedient to me and has no regard for my parents.She keeps fabricating stories about me to her parents and makes me look like a bad person in front of them.Her family doesnt like talking to me or keeping any kind of contact with me.From my understanding she wants to make me look like the bad guy and wants me to divorce her so that she can go back to her parents and ask them to remarry her to some one.Her parents instead of sharing any problems with my elders keep feeding her and she keeps following them.She does no house chores until she is forced,she doesn’t bother serving me breakfast or cooking anything for me or washing my clothes instead my old mom does all that for me, if i explain her something she gets offended and doesnt talk to me for weeks.She has also told me in the past in anger that she doesn’t want to live with me and that I have ruined her life by marrying her.When her parents or any member of her family visit us, my wife totally changes and doesn’t bother talking to me in front of them and her family obviously don’t like me as my wife has portrayed me as a very bad person.
Please advise me what should i do in this situation as it is going no where with my wife.I am concerned about my kids but i dont want to live with my wife.
What is the ruling of islam on this and how can a husband protect his interests in such a situation.

Q. When I was primary or middle school student that time My Cousin Brother
( son of phuphi) had sexual relation with me and I think that time he was high school student. But I don't know that was I had bad relation with him too.
One day I was watching The TV there was a islamic program A ulma-e-deen was saying that if you had sexual relationship with other male then you cannot marry with his sister.
But when later, I asked this question to some Ulma-e-deen they said that you can marry with his sister. There is no any restriction to marriage with his sister. If you want you could marry with her.
After this I decided that it will be better if I dont't marry with his sister. But if I like to marry with his sister there is no also problem. If I like I can marry with her.
She is my cousin. My parents had chosen her for me. My parents had wished that I have to marry with her.
Now When I went to Pakistan from abroad I married with her. She is my cousin. I wished to marry with someone else. Then why I did this because my all family members had wished me to marry with her. Now She is happy with me and I'm happy with her. I don't have any problem with her. She loves me and I also love her.
Now we have married what do you say about this marriage was islam allowed me to marry with her.
Could you do Istikhara for me to know marriage that we did is it right,

Assalaam-o-allaikum,
My name is Siddique I. Desai i am from India Bombay i am trying to use Islamic Scholar version 2.0 and it is giving me an error while using it. It gives me a following error while using. I install it and when i try to open up the folder for Islamic scholar i get a message:
Islamic Scholar CD ROM Not Found
1. The CD ROM is not in the Drive. Insert CD ROM in Drive, wait for CD to be read by the computer and select RETRY>
2. The CD ROM has just been inserted into the Drive and has not been read by the computer. Wait for few seconds and select RETRY.
3. The CD ROM Drive settings is incorrect. Select CHANGE and select the drive letter of the CD ROM Drive.
Retry Change Exit
Well i tried changing the Drive letter but no go. I am using a Dell Laptop and the Operating System is Windows XP Professional i tried the running Islamic Scholar on Multiple computers but still no go. I hope u people could reply to me abt this. its really very urgent for me.

sir i have cd of islamic scholar and i agree worlds most powerfull comrehensive programme regarding islam i have seen.
but problem is i was to upgrade my window from 98 to XP as a reason my business recquired software and i m helpless now the islamic scholar is not working in WIN XP
