This Quran is 30% larger than the usual book supplied with other Quran Pens which makes for easy reading of the script. This updated model has a word-by-word function which allows the learner to listen and pronounce each word to improve recitation.

The Quran is colour coded with tajweed rules to ease recitation.

The Quran has icons along the side for easier selection of main recitors and translations. You are able to select Tajweed Rules, Sharah Almufadat, Tafsir and Hadiths and the icon to change the recitation to word by word only.

The practice icon on the Quran allows you to record your voice and hear this against the recitor to improve recitation and tajweed.

Playback is available at all times by clicking on the Icon on the Quran, pressing the relevant button on the pen or clicking the accompanying card.

Selection along the bottom enables you to increase/decrease the volume; speed/slow down the recitation/translation.

The pen is always set to English as the default translation. Clicking the recitors/translators will allow you to choose another.

The Teacher Manual has a Touch and Learn feature for interactive learning. It includes:
- Part 30 of the Holy Quran with colour coded tajweed rules
- Illustrated instructions on how to perform Namaaz
- Important duas with accompanying illustration
- 99 names of Allah
- Qaida Noorania

Comes with a translation/recitation card to easily select the desired translation/recitation without having to cycle through numerous options.

Selecting translation/recitations can be done via the card, cycling through the options on the pen itself or clicking on the icons featured on the Quran and Book.

You are also able to download and store MP3 files such as nasheeds directly on to the pen. The pen has one nasheed already downloaded into it.

The pages are layered with invisible coded grids. The Pen Reader optically detects each unique code on the grid and will read the corresponding text in beautiful digital sound. When the Read pen is pointed at the beginning title of each text, it will read the whole corresponding chapter. This provides a very convenient way to learn and memorise and recite, all in just 3 easy steps – point, listen and recite.

The sound comes through the built-in speaker of the pen, and earphones can be plugged in for a more concentrated and private listening.
