A History of Peaceful Preaching
In a body that is made up of atoms, you breathe in air, eat food, and drink liquids that are all composed of atoms. Everything you see is nothing but the result of the collision of electrons of atoms with photons.
In this book, the implausibility of the spontaneous formation of an atom, the building-block of everything, living or non-living, is related and the flawless nature of God's creation is demonstrated. 139 pages with 122 pictures in colour.
The Qur'an has been revealed to us so that we may read and ponder. Basic concepts in the Qur'an is a useful resource prepared as a guide to thinking. Some basic Islamic concepts like the soul, conscience, wisdom, loyalty, submission to God, brotherhood, modesty, prayer, patience, ascribing partners to God are discussed in the light of Qur'anic verses.
God, in the Qur'an, calls the culture of people who are not subject to the religion of God "ignorance." Only a comparison of this culture with the honourable thoughts and moral structure of the Qur'an can reveal its primitive and corrupted nature. The purpose of this book is to take this comparison further, displaying the extent of the "primitive rationale" of ignorant societies. 167 pages.
Martin Lings's Life of Muhammad is unlike any other. Based on Arabic sources of the eighth and ninth centuries, of which some important passages are translated here for the first time, it owes the freshness and directness of its approach to the words of the men and women who heard Muhammad speak and witnessed the events of his life. Martin Lings has an unusual gift for narrative. He has adopted a style which is at once extremely readable and reflects both the simplicity and grandeur of the story. The result is something that can be read with equal enjoyment by those already familiar with Muhanumad's life and those coming to it for the first time.

Aliya Butt works as a Senior Crown Prosecutor in the Midlands. Ms Butt was first inspired to write this book whilst she was training as a barrister. She took special interest in the status of women in Islam and learnt that the idea that Islam is oppressive towards women is a myth. On the contrary, women are highly respected and enjoy a dignified role in Islamic culture. This led her to explore why there is a gap between the reality and the popular concept of Islam. Her search to find the answer led to the compilation of The Noble Woman.

The Muhammadan Revelation discusses revelation, prophethood, the miracles of the prophets as understood by Christians, Jews, and Muslims, the inimitability or I'jaz of the Qur'anic text, and the worldwide revolution brought about by the prophet of Islam, upon him be peace, and his teachings. Add to that, the ten higher purposes of the Qur'an for the reform of the individual and society... and then a study of the spiritual, economic, political, and social legislation brought by Islam... and you have the contents of this epochal work. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The name, Muhammad Rashid Rida is very well known throughout the Muslim World. Many of Rida's work have been published and republished all over the Arab-speaking world: making Rashid Rida a household name, and one that comes immediately to mind when the reformational efforts of the early twentieth century are recalled. But, like the work of his well known teacher, Muhammad Abduh, Rida's work has remained available only to those who can read Arabic. Clearly the purpose of the author in writing this book was to promote understanding of Islam and its Prophet, upon him be peace, through an appeal to the followers of all "revealed" religions to view these issues from the perspective of a shared or common doctrinal ground- that of divine revelation.
About the Book
In this work, the world renowned scholar of comparative fiqh, Dr. Saalih al-Sadlaan of Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University discusses the most important issues of fiqh. In this work, the author has done an excellent job of concisely mentioning the most important aspects of the different fiqh topics he discussed. Furthermore, he has discussed many issues that are not greatly discussed in the English literature, such as the rules concerning bequests and endowments. Hence, this work was chosen to be translated as a welcomed addition to the available English literature.
It should be noted that this work was first written with the intention that it would be translated as a basic and introductory work on fiqh for the Islamic republics that formerly formed part of the U.S.S.R.
This book is excellent as a textbook for workshops and schools, as well as a primer for new Muslims. There is definitely a need for such books in English. The fundamental, agreed upon points are presented clearly for the teacher and the students. Teachers and Imams may expound on the evidence for the positions that Dr. al-Sadlaan holds and discuss the issues in greater detail. Hence, it may lay the foundation for a much better understanding of the essential topics that Dr. al-Sadlaan has chosen to discuss in this introductory work.
"The subject of salvation is one of particular concern to all who believe in God, because it is ultimately the goal which we all seek. Correspondingly, all religious systems offer man one method or another by which he may be released from the burden of his sins. Most methods of absolution may be generally grouped under the banners of two opposing camps: those who hold that salvation is guaranteed by faith alone and those who assert that it can only be achieved by deeds.
This book clearly and concisely presents the Islamic viewpoint wherein salvation by faith and salvation by deeds are combined in a truly unique manner.
