This book is a comparative study of the place of al-Quds (Jerusalem) in the classic Judaic and Islamic traditions. Al-Quds functions as an important holy place and as a central religious symbol within three great religious traditions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. In the western world the Christian and Jewish sacred histories of Jerusalem are well known but the Islamic sacred history is less well known. By studying al-Quds comparatively with respect to the Judaic and Islamic traditions, the author brings to light the Islamic traditions perspective. He concludes that only the Muslims have acted as guardians of al-Quds for all mankind irrespective creed, and that only the Muslims are capable of assuming that role again, so that it will be again, as it is meant to be, a City of Peace.

Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall (1875-1936) was an English traveler, novelist, polemicist, and educationist who embraced Islam in 1917. His travels throughout the Muslim world formed the basis of several of his novels set in the Middle East and allowed him to become fluent in Arabic, Turkish, and Urdu. After his conversion, he served as the acting imam of the London Mosque (Notting Hill), worked for 15 years with Muslims in the Indian subcontinent as the editor of Islamic Culture. (Hyderabad, Deccan), and served as the Nizam's advisor and publisher. He wrote and published more than 25 books. Among them was his well-known work The Meaning of the Glorious Qur' an Explanatory Translation. The life of the prophet Muhammad: A Brief History, originally an introduction for The Meaning of the Glorious Quran, is truly a gem of concision. Realistic and nonapologetic, it contains all that is most essential about the mission of the prophet. This biography is eminently suitable as an introduction to the Prophet's life for those wanting a quick look based on the earliest and most authentic Muslim sources. It truly represents what Muslims immediately recall when they think about the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace
The present volume is an anthology compiled from the Hadith literature, an Islamic source second only to the Quran in religious importance. Although brief, it covers, directly or indirectly, the more importance aspects of the Hadith’s teachings. The saying of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) have been handed down to posterity through both oral and written tradition, the foundation of which were laid by the Prophet’s Companions, some of whom were also his scribes.
This collection of the sayings of the Prophet was highly praised in its earlier editions, and it has now been carefully revised and classified. It is published in the earnest hope that it will serve in some degree to remove misconceptions as to the meaning and message of the religion of Islam, particularly with regard to tolerance in Islam and the status of women. It is also hoped that it will promote still further the goodwill and understanding between the East and West.

The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "He who tells a lie on me intentionally, let him take his seat in the Hellfire" (Bukhari volume 1, No. 107). Whenever a person quotes a fabricated hadith knowingly, he or she is guilty of lying on the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Fabricated ahadith stunt the spiritual growth of the Muslim Ummah. This book is a compilation and refutation of one hundred of the most famous and lethal fabricated ahadith in the Muslim world today. An enlightening book written by one of the most famous scholars of Islaam on the important subject of servitude. In this book, Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah defines the concept of worship in Islaam and explains that to be a true "slave of Allaah" is a status of both virtue and nobility. The author proves that the title "slave of Allaah" is one of great honor which Allaah bestowed upon the best of creation, Muhammad (pbuh). While elaborating on the issue of servitude, the author highlights the prevalent traps which people fall into, when becoming enslaved by, or allowing their hearts to become attached to worldly objects. The emphasis is on servitude to Allaah which is adorned with the true love we hold for Him in our hearts -- a matter of central importance for every Muslim.
