Beekun and Badawi have written a primer on leadership integrating contemporary business techniques with traditional Islamic knowledge. The synthesis results in a highly practical and inspiring manual for developing leadership skills. Leadership in Islam is a trust. It represents a psychological contract between a leader and his followers that he will try his best to guide them... Hence, the focus of leadership in Islam is on doing good. According to Islam, every person is the "shepherd" of his flock, and occupies a position of leadership. Leadership: An Islamic Perspective is about how Muslims enact their leadership role. This book is directed at both non-Muslims seeking to understand the leadership paradigm of one billion Muslims globally and at Muslims wishing to understand leadership better.
The book has been wriiten a brother who was born into a Hindu household. After reverting to Islaam at the age of 20 he was drawn to the highest pinnacle in Islaam. The book describes the authors personal experience in occupied kashmir fighting the Indian forces

Abstract UNDER THE KASHMIRI MOON… ABOUT THE BOOK The disease of Wahn (love for the world, and dislike of fighting) is now truly rampant throughout the Ummah, and the state of Kashmir is but a symptom of a world wide epidemic. If it was not for those few international Mujahideen who drive fear into the hearts of the disbeliever’s, bringing some semblance of honour to our nation, we would be in total humiliation unparalleled since the time of the Rasul (saw). Based on first hand experience inside Occupied Kashmir, the author has vividly brought to life through his writings, accounts of the Mujahideen in one of the most treacherous war zones in the world.
From the author's introduction: "Since this great declaration of laa ilaaha illallaah; that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, stands out amongst the various types of remembrance and because it is not merely something that is uttered by the tongue -- rather it has certain rulings, conditions and requirements attached to it -- I decided to choose this declaration as the subject of my discussion. Indeed, it is a declaration that the Muslims proclaim in their daily lives; in their call to Prayer and in their sermons and speeches. It is a declaration for which the whole of the creation was created; for which Allaah sent Messengers, revealed Books, and prescribed Divine Laws. Upon it rests the very foundation of the Religion and because of it swords are drawn-out. It is the Right of Allaah over His slaves; the declaration of Islaam and the key to Paradise. The book's discussion concerning the declaration of laa ilaaha illallaah encompasses the following points: its status in the life of a Muslim; its virtues and excellence; its lexical analysis; its pillars; its conditions; its meaning and requirements; when it benefits the one who says it and when it does not; its effects upon the individual and the society."
A word from the publisher: The reason we have selected this book "The Islamic Digest of Aqeedah and fiqh" is to serve as a reference for the English speaking Muslims in general and Muslims who are living in the West in particular, where scholars and Islam
This is a concise book which contains forty authentic ahaadeeth from the sayings of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.).which I gathered as

"The Islamic personality is a clear and distinct personality. Its fabric is the Book of Allaah, and its thread is the Sunnah and these two are inseparable from it. It is a sincere and determined personality educated and refined upon a precise methodology which does not contain even the slightest deficiency, and how could it since it is the Religion of Allaah, Lord of all the worlds?!"
"I write this book for the enthusiastic Muslim youth who does not find, whilst swimming in the ocean of enthusiasm and excitement, the helping hand of one who knows the poison and is aware of the cure, one who can guide him to the correct way and correct thinking so that these youths can be with their minds and thoughts like the Companions of the Prophet ( )... So let us all hasten to be like them, and to resemble them since the affair is as it was said: We are not in comparison to those who came before except like small herbs growing beside the trunks o f tall palm trees...
So what I have written is knowledge which is the path to action, a reminder which leads one to obey and follow, and advice which is essential for the attainmen
Saladin was one of the greatest and most chivalrous leaders that the world has ever known. Born at the time of the Crusades, his desire to regain Jerusalem drove him to become one of Islam's most formidable military commanders, and culminated in his sweeping victory over the Franks at the battle of Hitten.
In the Shade of the Qur'an is more than 'just another' commentary; yet it is not too over-reaching or outlandish to be a completely new interpretation. It is an earnest, sincere, and sober look at man's contemporary achievements and difficulties in the light of the message of the Qur'an. It is an effort to vigorously explore its rich wisdom, and expand its invaluable guidance for the benefit of an increasingly 'sophisticated', yet highly perplexed modern society. The work, which is by far Sayyid Qutb's largest and most profound, spans the whole of the text of the Qur'an. It was written, and party re-written over a period of more than 15 years, most of which the author had spent in Egyption prisons, during the 1950s and 1960s. In it is embedded Sayyid Qutb's insight, highly esteemed intellectual vigour, and his widely-acclaimed literary prowess. This book has been universally recognised as an outstanding contribution to Islamic thought and scholarship, to which students and scholars, as well as contemporary Islamic revivalist movements all over the world, owe a great deal. Now that it is available in English, it will continue to enlighten and inspire millions more. It will take its rightful place as an indispensable work of reference for a proper understanding of contemporary Islamic thinking.

MAUWATTA IMAM MALIK
IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, MOST GRACIOUS, MOST MERCIFUL
Malek ben Anas, a Muslim jurist, the Imam of the Malikis doctrine, which is named after him. He was called briefly the Imam of Madina,
Malek's full name was Abu 'Abd-Allah Malek ben Anas ben Malek ben Abu Amir ben 'Amr ben Al-Harith ben Ghayman ben Khuthayn ben 'Amr ben Al-Harith Al-Asbahi. He belonged to the Humair, who were included in he Bani Taym ben Murra.
Malek's great work is Al-Muwatta' , which is the earliest surviving Muslim law-book. Its object is to give a survey of law and justice, ritual and practice of religion, according to the tradition applied in Madina, and to create a theoretical standard for matters which were not settled from the point of view of the tradition. In a period of recognition and appreciation of the canon law under the early Abbasids, there was a practical interest in pointing out a smoothed path (this is practically what Al-Muwatta' means) through the for reaching differences of opinion even on the most elementary questions. However Al-Muwatta' thus represents the transition from the doctrinal writings of the earliest period to the puree science of hadith of the later period.
The success of Al-Muwatta' is due to the fact that it always takes an average view on disputed points. In transmitting Al-Muwatta', Malek didnot make a definite text, either oral or by dissemination. On the contrary the different narratives of his work differ in places. The real for thi...read more
