This booklet in your hands is a lucid translation of the original booklet and is a great favour to the Urdu speaking public. This valuable work was completed by a young new graduate of Daarul Uloom Karachi Moulana Hassaan Mahmood. He is the very capable son of my eminent and respected teacher Hadhrat Moulana Subhaan Mahmood (the supervisor of Daarul Uloom Karachi).
The translator had added a few authentic Ahadeeth and some valuable explanations. By the grace of Allaah, I had the opportunity to study both the Arabic and Urdu editions of the booklet in detail and have found all the Ahadeeth to be reliable and extracted from dependable sources. Even the explanations have been sourced from the commentaries of our pious predecessors.
Every subject discussed in this booklet kindles the spark of Imaan and deeply embeds the importance of visiting and caring for the ill within the heart. This book is a must for every household and is so valuable that no hospital, no practitioner and no library should be without it.
We pray to Allaah to make the benefit of this booklet widespread and to accept the efforts of its distinguished author and translator. May Allaah also abundantly bless the lives, knowledge and deeds of them both. Aameen.
If there is anything an honest and true Muslim learns from life, it is the great value of having good manners and paying sincere attention to one's character in front of Allah. Many a well spoken and intelligent person manages to acquire a sound reputation only to lose it quickly due to subsequent shallow and hideous behaviour. Loss of repute is bad but not quite as calamitous as the harm done to the noble cause of inviting others to Islam and to a godly life. As a result, attitudes harden both towards those who try to promote the faith and those who seek to live by it. This breeds contempt and despair. However, the greatest loss is for the individual who learns and talks about Islam but fails to personally improve in gracious and benevolent character. Such people concentrate on teaching and advising others without adequately looking at their own hearts. They can quote material and use jargon that gives them an air of sophistication and allows them to cheat the public into accepting them as knowledgeable for a while. However, real knowledge nurtures honouring Muslims and others appropriately and prevents one from being rude. One can be rude in many ways, such as being judgemental, harsh, presumptuous, selfish, pretentious, sectarian and so on. Indeed, real knowledge makes a person humble, mature in outlook and careful when dealing with others. Real knowledge, when lodged in the heart, changes a person to appreciate goodness wherever it is found and value creation with gratitu...read more
Childhood is the earliest stage of human life. If the foundation is strong then the edifice will be lasting and will endure. Psychologist and scholars have always impressed upon the need of a sound training to children. Islam has given particular guidelines and detailed instructions in this regard. The responsibility is placed squarely upon parents and guardians, the mother being the first madrassah of the child. Then the teachers and society are responsible for the child's upbringing and training. Let everyone of us play our part in this so that the next generation we have is of pious, righteous Muslims. This book brings out the message clearly in lucid terms well supported by the Prophet's (SAW) words and the Quranic verses.
This book provides a thorough overview of the current state of Islamic historical studies and an analysis of some characteristic methods and problems. By presenting some possible lines of inquiry and research strategies, Humphreys explores the elements which might be used to construct a persuasive and well-integrated synthesis of Islamic history from A.D. 600 to 1500. He provides a comprehensive survey of the sources and reference tools available to historians and proposes ways to use existing resources to extend our knowledge of medieval Islamic history
Though much of Iqbal's best poetry is written in Persian, he is also a poet of colossal stature in Urdu. Shikwa (1909) and Jawab-i-Shikwa (1913) extol the legacy of Islam and its civilising role in history, bemoan the fate of Muslims everywhere, and squarely confront the dilemmas of Islam in modern times. Shikwa is thus, in the form of a complaint to Allah for having let down the Muslims and Jawab-i-Shikwa is Allah's reply to the poet's complaint.
This is the glorious story of American Muslim slaves who kept the spirit of Islam alive in their hearts for centuries during the slavery period. It is estimated that up to 30% of the slaves brought from Africa to American continents were Muslims. Many of them were scholars of the Holy Qur'an!
A star appeared at the horizon of the United States, President Abraham Lincoln recovered the dignity of man, which was lost through slavery for centuries.
This film, superbly narrated by Steve Boergadine, also presents the facts about the 800 year old Islamic civilization of West Africa at the time of slave catching.
Islam firmly and practically demonstrated the equality of man through history regardless of race or color. The freed Muslim slaves in America began to look for their heritage which resulted in many Afro-American movements.
This documentary video is dedicated to all those people who sacrificed, and to those who continue to struggle, for the cause of equality and dignity of man.
Includes interviews with various historians including Sulayman Nyang, Ali Muhammed, and others.
Note: This film includes select short, musical compositions and interludes.
'Every soul shall have A taste of death And only on the Day of Judgement shall you Be paid paid your recompense…' (Quran 3:185)
THE LAST DAY!
The Last Day is coming soon! It has been foretold in all major religions. The Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will mislead people and bring an end to righteousness. Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) will descend from heaven and vanquish the Dajjal.
Allah (God) has promised that a Day of Judgement will come when every human being who ever existed will be judged according to their faith and deeds. People will be admitted to Paradise and Hell based on Allah's fair judgement. This journey into next reallm of existence is our ultimate fate.
Now, for the first time, you can take a closer look into the events that have been foretold in the Quran and the oral traditions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Sit back and as you view this stunning visual presentation of a time yet to come, ponder well over its significance and meaning and don't let yourself be caught when the momentous events depicted come to pass.

Sheikh Ahmed Deedat
In 1986, the King Faisal Foundation awarded the King Faisal International Prize for SERVICE TO ISLAM, to a South African who is more or better known than many dignitaries in their own countries. This was the first time that this prestigious award has been awarded to a South African.
The recipient of this award was a man totally dedicated to his faith and its propagation and who was not afraid to challenge any one to a debate to settle once and for all the matter, who has the good news right?
He was none other than Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, reverently known and called UNCLE by those who hold him in high esteem and admiration.
The award came after a lifetime of struggle to propagate Islam and to defend Islam against the onslaught of the missionaries.
Finally, he was given recognition by the international Muslim

This explosive new documentary investigates the current crusade being fought against Muslims in Iraq and Palestine.
With a running time of 1hr 34m (approx) the film begins with exposing America’s ‘War on Terror’ as a front for its Crusade against Islam. In this section we are introduced to ex-Guantanamo detainee Moazzam Begg, Shaykh Ali Timimi (awaiting trial in U.S.) and Babar Ahmad (in UK prison).
In a highly emotive manner, the plight of Palestinians is looked at next. The oppressiveness of their lives is depicted for the viewer to witness and take heed. Consequently there will be none who view this and not be stirred by emotion.
The last third of the film is dedicated to the latest chapter in the Crusaders war: Iraq. The section looks at America and its dealing with Iraq and its citizens. It contains recent war footage from Iraq and uncovers the truth behind US casualties.
"And remember when Isa (Jesus) the son of Maryam said: O children of Israel! I am the Rasool (Messenger) of Allah towards you, confirming the Torah which came before me, and to give you good news of a Rasool that will come after me whose name shall be Ahmed (another name of Muhammad, meaning 'The praised one'). But when he (Muhammad) came to them with clear signs, they said "This is plain magic." Surat As-Saff : Verse 6
Islam promotes and teaches peace while Terrorism suggests to do the exact opposite of that. Then why is the word Terrorist always coupled with the word Islamic? A complete oxymoron! Unfortunately today people have been misled to think that Islam is a religion of Terror and oppression. In this lecture Shaykh Khalid Yasin reveals through historical accounts who in essence are the genuine terrorists and that Islam in is innocent of such claims.
