Jinnah (1998). The film opens shortly after partition in 1947 with a dying Jinnah being rushed to hospital. In an unusual twist, Jinnah awakens in a computer room, where a decision on his eternal soul will be made. Unfortunately Jinnah’s data file is missing and the computers are malfunctioning which means a decision cannot be taken on his path from hereon. The Author Mr Haque was born in Sylhet (Bangladesh) of religious parents on November 7, 1933. He graduated from the Sylhet Government High Madrasah in 1953, did his B.A. Honours in English from Dhaka University in 1958, M.A. in English from Rajshashi University in 1960 and M.A. in Journalism in 1964 from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He did several diplomatic assignments, both in Pakistan and then in Bangladesh. His lastest diplomatic assignment was in Baghdad, Iraq, from 1973 to 1976. He also served as a Senior Director in the Central Bank of Bangladesh for seven years until he resigned in 1983 to do Da'wah work all over the world.
