Saniyasnain Khan was born in 1959 in Azamgarh in India. After doing his post-graduation from the University of Delhi, he began assisting his father, the noted Islamic scholar, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, in his research and publications. In 1996, he founded Goodword Books, which deals mainly with quality books on Islamic subjects. Then, feeling the need to educate the younger generation about the message of Islam as a religion of peace and harmony, he began writing stories for children. His first book, Tell Me About Hajj, brought out in 1999, was very well received in India and abroad. His next publication was Tell Me About the Prophet Muhammad, which has become a best-seller among the Islamic works currently available in English. Apart from the Tell Me About series, he has written several books for young children based on stories from the Quran, which illustrate moral and ethical values. He believes that as parents, it is our duty to instill the love for Islam in our children. The basic theme that runs through his books is to teach moral principles gradually through themes carefully chosen from the Holy Quran and other Islamic sources. In this way, children not only learn the ethical values conveyed by the message of Islam, but also be stimulated to want to know more about Isl...read more

For nearly 200 years the Middle East was the battleground on which Islam, Byzantium and western Christendom fought themselves to a standstill. This history presents this epic struggle as a narrative that not only relates to the crucial events, but also brings to life the remarkable characters involved in this clash of imperial ambitions.
The Prophet not only warned his Ummah against Dajjal; the false Messiah, but stated in detail his colour, height, width, eye-shape, inscriptions on his forehead, his seductions, his method of aberrance, how to escape from his temptations, his current location, and so on. All the details about Dajjal are here in this book.
In recent years, Islam has become a more visible force, not only in North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, but also in Western Europe and the United States. Greater attention to religious observance has accompanied the creation of new institutions. Religiously inspired social and political movements have proliferated. Only a few decades ago, Muslims were virtually invisible in Europe and America. Today, increased immigration has changed the religious landscape of the West. Mosques and Islamic centers are found in European and American cities and towns. Muslims are visible in nearly every area of social and political life. A list of major Islamic cities and populations today must include not only Cairo, Tunis, Damascus, and Islamabad, but also Paris, London, New York, and Detroit. This demographic and cultural shift requires that we speak not only of the relationship between the traditional Islamic world and the West, but also about Islam in the West. It has also meant that Islam has been obliged to modernize, to grapple with its status as a minority religion in some parts of the world and a majority one in others. Modernizing Islam speaks to the significance, origins, influences, and implications of Islam's changes, and thus to the various ways in which this religion is becoming a truly global force, shaping such realms as law, politics, education, and ethics, among many others.
