A compilation of two books published separately i.e.. Fazail-E-Sadagaat and Fazail-E-Hajj, originally written in Urdu by prominent scholar, Maulana Mohammad Zakariyya Kandhalvi (Rah.) and translated into English by Prof.'Abdul Karim and Maulana Yousuf Karaan. The first book is related to Charity Sadaqaat, the author clarifies many aspects of charity in the name of Allah, which is the best investment according to the Holy Qur'an and Ahadeeth. It also includes the virtues and rewards of spending in Allah's cause, asceticism, condemnation of miserliness, contentment and avoidance of begging with exemplary related stories of pious personages. The second book is about the manners and performance of Hajj, one of the five fundamental duties of a Muslim.The author clarifies in a very simple language, the virtues, advantages and comforts of Hajj and also the condemnation and warning for failing to perform Hajj.

Written by the founder of one of the four major schools of Sunni Islamic lawn, this important work gives the fundamental principles by which the various legal ruling and principles were synthesized into a coherent system of law, during the early years of the spread of Islam. This work also established the principal of Sunnah as one of the main sources of Islamic law. Also included is a brief biography of Imam al-Shafi'I. THE MERCY IN THE DIFFERENCE OF THE FOUR SUNNI SCHOOLS OF ISLAMIC LAW By al-Oath as-Safadi of Damascus This book is the first translation into English of a well-known and widely used, six hundred year old classical Arabic text, Its author, Qadi Safadi of Damascus, designed it for his contemporaries as a reference book to acquaint the followers of the four schools of fiqh with the rulings of the other schools, so that needless antagonism and misunderstandings did not spring up out of ignorance and prejudice. The need for such a book is even more pressing in the present circumstances, and this excellent and succinct book which covers the whole spectrum of the Deen is a timely and much needed addition to the Islamic source material available in the English Language.

Beneficial Answers to Questions on Innovated Methodologies This is a translation of the tremendous book "Al-Ajwibatul-Mufeedah 'an As'ilatil-Manaahij al-Jadeedah", which is a compilation of questions presented to Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan and his responses to them. The source used for this was the 1997 second edition, published by Daar as-Salaf of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A translation of the classical manual of Islamic Sacred Law (Shari'ah) `Umdat as-Salik by Ahmad ibn Naqib al-Misri (d. 769/1386), in Arabic with facing English text, commentary and appendices edited and translated by Nuh Ha Mim Keller. 'Umdat al-Salik wa 'Uddat al-Nasik (Reliance of the Traveller and Tools of the Worshipper) is a Sunni manual of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence). It is based mainly on the fiqh conclusions of Imam al-Nawawi, the great Hadith master (hafiz) and Shafi'i scholar of jurisprudence (mujtahid). The appendices form an integral part of the book and present original texts and translations from classic works by al-Ghazali, al-Nawawi, al-Qurtubi, al-Dhahabi, Ibn Hajar and others, on topics of Islamic Law, faith, spirituality, Qur'an exegesis and Hadith sciences, making the work a living reflection of Islam as understood by some of its greatest scholars. It has also biographical notes about every person mentioned (391 biographies), bibliography of each work cited (136 works), and a detailed subject Index (95 pages). This book covers a subject spending and guardianship that is generally neglected. Very little is written about it. Shaikh Muhammad al-Tahir ibn Ashur is the most renowned Zaytuna Imam and one of the great Islamic scholars of the 20th century. FROM THE BOOK: "The thoroughness of the Prophetic condemnation of usury which was made after the dawn of Islam, leaves no room for any part, however indirect, in the Islamic transaction. The Apostle of Allah cursed the receiver (literally, the eater) of interest, and the clerk who writes the bond, and the two witnesses thereof, and declared them all as equally culpable. Other traditions record that the Prophet (S.A.W.) forbade the barter of a heap of date of an unknown weight for a specified quantity. Similarly, Muslims are forbidden to sell the fruit upon their trees, before it is ripe, even when the two part les are willng to take the risk. Thus all that the Book of Allah and the Sunnah have prohibited of the transactions aims at the realisation of equity and at the prohibition of injustice, whether light or grave. These aspects according to Ibn Taimiyyah, include: "appropriation of the property of others unjustly, or by usury and gambling."
