Gateway to Arabic: Handwriting book
|
| Dr Imran Hamza Alawiye |
THE `GATEWAY TO ARABIC' HANDWRITING BOOK forms part of the "Gateway to Arabic" series. The primary objective of the book is to show students how to write in the ruq'ah style of Arabic handwriting, as well as the printed naskh style, through the use of arrowed and numbered diagrams. The formation and direction of pen movement for each letter of the alphabet in all its forms is clearly demonstrated. The copying of the carefully selected Islamic words, phrases and Qur'anic verses would assist the learner to develop increased fluency and confidence in their handwriting. |

I am very pleased with the quality of these books. The color pictures are delightful, which makes it fun to read. I also appreciate the comprehensiveness of the series. Although I am already at level 2, the earlier books are so well done, they provide an interesting review. I'm glad I bought the entire set. |
