Pray As You Have Seen Me Pray is a documentary style educational film that teaches you the basics of prayer. It contains the following:
The Night Journey (Isra' wal-Mi'raj) The story of the Miraculous Night Journey in which the prayer was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from Allah (swt).
General Hygiene (Taharah) Muhammad (pbuh) said that cleanliness is one half of faith.
The Ablution (Wudu) A prerequisite of prayer is washing the parts of the body as ordered by Allah (swt) and taught by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Dry Ablution (Tayammum) If water is not available then one may perform a dry ablution.
Bathing (Ghusl) Bathing is required in the manner taught by Muhammad (pbuh) in certain circumstances.
The Prayer (As-Salah) All one needs to know about the prayer including: The importance of prayer, leaving the prayer, prerequisites of prayer, a detailed two units (Rak'at) of prayer, a step by step guide to performing three & four units of prayer and general points about Prayer.

As a recent convert I found the DVD a complete must have, since receiving the DVD I have now got the ability to complete my five daily prayers and the confidence to guide my young son. |

This is an excellent CD especially for children and reverts who are learning to pray. The pace is good and things explained clearly. It includes alot of useful things re wudu etc. i would recommend this. |

Being a Muslim, I learned the authentic ways to say my five daily prayers from this DVD - wonderful job - 1islam.net is what we needed at this age. Jazak Allah Khair.
And fellow brothers and sisters, worry about what Qur'an and Sunnah tells us on how to pray Not what a particular scholar or mufti or fatwa says. |

So this would give you an idea. There is no mention of a book that this production has been based upon, but there are constant references to the Quran and Hadith.

I wanted to how the "How to pray Salah DVD" instructs viewers to pray (i.e. does the DVD instruct you to pray in the way of a certain Madhab, or does it instruct prayer exactly how the Prophet Muhammed salaAllahu 'alahi wa sallam instructed us to pray based on hadith)? |
