This collection is the best I think I've ever come across. Naeem Sultan reads in a way that gives the English speaker some sort of semblance, however limited, of the power and the beauty of the meaning of the Revelation. The translation he reads is that of the illustrious Marmaduke Pickthall. Pickthall's translation is said to be literal, and, whilst using a beautiful and poetic expression (in my humble opinion), consequently seems to miss the mark on occassion in terms of subtle meanings. However, I certaintly would not buy this to study the Revelation as such, but rather to marvel at its magnificence, power, general wisdom and wonder. Highly recommended (I'll otherwise ignore the inapt packaging). |

The recitation of the Quran and the translation is excellent and i would recommend it to anyone. However, the only issue that I had with this product was the packaging that could have been much better as some of the cd covers were split at the sides. |
