The Reality Of Sufism In Light Of The Qur'aan & Su
Shaykh Al-Madkhalee
You must be aware that there are a number of destructive calls which have been established amongst the ranks of the Muslims and which have shaken and damaged the belief held in there hearts. They have polluted the pure Islamic ‘aqeedah, and have grown by stages to reach such a dangerous level that they led to the splitting of the Muslims into sects and the parties, about which the Prophet (P.B.U.H) said: Indeed those who were before you, from the people of the book, split into seventy-two sects, and this religion will split seventy-three. Seventy-two in the fire and one in the paradise and it is the Jammaa’ah.

Book gives factual and historical view of Sufism. I am not convinced that all views were considered.

A must read for all Muslims. This book explains the origins of the Sufi movement and its various doctrines. Most people associate Sufism with haunting mystical music, breath-taking poetry, and liberal attitudes. This book actually explains the fundamental doctrines and beliefs of the Sufis which the average Muslim is clueless about. Most importantly it helps us understand how some tenets of Sufism might violate the injunction against shirk.

A small and hardly researched at all study of Sufism... all there is is a few misinterpreted quotations here and there from some Sufi authors and the entire book is based on that.
It doesn't mention e.g. that prior to what became known as the 'Sufis', the 'Fuqaha' were also Sufis for centuries before that time. So it's not a Bidah and also Spiritual side of Islam was practiced by Prophet Muhammed (peace and blessings of Allah Almighty be upon him) hinself.
This book just a load of Wahabi Rubbish who themselves destroyed the Ottoman Empire and now want to rebuild it through violence.

I come from one of those nations where the Islamic culture is steeped in saint veneration, consultation of jinns, and all forms of superstition. Saint veneration and practices vary from one region to another. I often wondered what did a "baba" or "pir" from Hyderabad have in common with a sufi sheikh from Marrakesh. What are the different schools of sufism and what are their basic beliefs? What is the origin of sufism and how did it spread? Are the teachings of sufism compatible with the concept of tawheed or the doctrines laid down in the Hadith and Quran? This concise and highly informative books answers them all.

Assalmaualaikum
From the introduction of the book, it exposes the reality of Sufism and how it has destroyed Islamic Aqeedah and introduced Bidah's and Shirk.
Whereby going to the extremes of calling themselves Allah such as Mansoor Al Hallaj ( may Allah's curse be upon him)
Sufism is certainly the most destructive force which is sweeping Muslims who are ignorant of the true Islamic Aqeedah.
