Bukhoor or Bakhoor is the Arabic name given to scented bricks or a blend of natural traditional ingredients, mainly woodchips. These scented chips/bricks are burned in charcoal or incense burners to perfume the house and clothing with the fragrance rich thick smoke.
Bakhoor is used at weddings or family get-togethers or just to perfume the house. It is an exotic alternative to the sterlie standard aerosol fragrances available in the supermarket!
To get started using bukhoor, you could just purchase one of the many bukhoor bricks we stock and burn them on an old plate, however to enjoy the experience why not also go for a decorative 'Mabkhara', which is a decorative stand especially for this purpose.
If you would like to go for the full package then add a Bukhoor Torch, but a lighter would do the same job albeit a little slower!
